Booking terms

Terms of Service

These terms apply to services supplied by Traditional Window Cleaner (TWC), a sole trader business, including bookings made through this website.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

1. About these terms

“TWC”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Traditional Window Cleaner. “You” and “customer” mean the person requesting or purchasing the service. These terms should be read together with the service and price information shown during your quote or booking.

2. Services

TWC provides window cleaning and may offer related exterior cleaning services such as gutter cleaning, conservatory cleaning and fascia/soffit cleaning. The exact work included in your booking is the service selected and confirmed in your booking or quotation.

3. Prices and minimum charge

The price displayed or confirmed for your booking is based on the information you provide and the service options selected. Standard services are subject to a £20 minimum spend per visit unless a different confirmed price or specific plan rule applies.

The 12-month window cleaning plan uses its own plan pricing. Where shown in the booking system, window cleaning under that plan is priced at £3 per window, with the frequency and included visits stated before payment. Any applicable bundle discount will be shown before checkout.

If the property, number of windows, access conditions or requested work materially differs from the information supplied when booking, we may discuss a revised price with you before carrying out additional or materially different work.

4. One-off, multiple-date and 12-month bookings

A one-off booking covers the confirmed service on the agreed visit. Where the website allows you to choose multiple dates, each confirmed date is treated as a separate scheduled visit within the same booking arrangement.

A 12-month plan may create a series of individual scheduled visits, for example every four or six weeks. Those visits may be linked under one plan or booking reference. Optional annual add-on services selected as part of the plan are scheduled for the available date or period confirmed during booking.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, a 12-month plan is a fixed booking arrangement for the selected period and is not an automatically renewing subscription.

5. Booking availability

Requested dates and times are subject to availability. The online booking system may temporarily hold appointment slots while payment or confirmation is in progress. A slot is not fully secured until the booking has been successfully confirmed.

We take reasonable steps to prevent duplicate bookings, but if a technical or scheduling problem occurs we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative or, where appropriate, refund an amount paid for a service we cannot provide.

6. Payment

Where payment is required online, the amount due will be shown before you complete checkout. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Your booking may remain pending until successful payment or other required confirmation is received.

For a prepaid multi-visit or 12-month booking, one payment may cover multiple scheduled visits and selected add-ons as itemised at checkout.

7. Access and customer responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate booking and contact information and for ensuring reasonable, safe access to the areas included in the booked service. Please tell us in advance about locked gates, access restrictions, fragile items, pets or other circumstances that could affect safe completion of the work.

Where access is unavailable or conditions prevent the booked work from being completed safely, we may need to rearrange the affected service.

8. Weather, safety and rescheduling

Exterior cleaning is affected by weather and site conditions. We may reschedule a visit where conditions make the work unsafe or impractical, including severe weather or unsafe access. If TWC needs to move an appointment, we will aim to contact you and arrange another suitable date.

9. Customer cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change a booking, please contact TWC as soon as reasonably possible. Any cancellation, rescheduling or refund entitlement will take account of the type of booking, whether work has already started, costs already incurred, and any statutory consumer rights that apply.

For multi-visit and 12-month arrangements, changing or cancelling one scheduled visit does not automatically cancel every other visit in the plan unless this is agreed with TWC.

10. Consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer and enter into a service contract online or otherwise at a distance, you may have statutory cancellation rights. Where a statutory cooling-off period applies, those rights are not reduced by these terms.

If you expressly ask us to begin providing a service during an applicable cancellation period, the law may allow us to charge a proportionate amount for service already supplied if you later cancel. If a service is fully performed following the required request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may end. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Problems with a service

If you believe there is a problem with work carried out by TWC, please contact us promptly with the booking details and a description of the issue. We will review the circumstances and, where appropriate, discuss a reasonable remedy. Your statutory rights are not affected.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to your statutory rights, TWC is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, unsafe or undisclosed site conditions, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Privacy

We use personal information to administer enquiries, quotes, bookings, services and payments as explained in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future bookings when our services, prices, website or legal requirements change. The terms that apply to a booking are those made available in connection with that booking, subject always to applicable law.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights you have concerning where legal proceedings may be brought.

16. Contact
